Kitchen Manager/Chef

Summary of Position

Directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the established recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Make employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining kitchen personnel as appropriate.
  • Provide orientation of business and department rules, policies, and procedures and oversee training of new kitchen employees.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations are intact.
  • Cover shifts in the event of no shows, illnesses/injuries, schedule changes, etc.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
    Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspections and by following the established preventative maintenance programs.
  • Work collaboratively with owners and vendors to plan and price menu items. Establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe sheets for all new menu items.
  • Ensure that all products are ordered according to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count and condition to ensure product is always on hand.
  • Ensure that deliveries are performed in accordance with the established receiving policies and procedures.
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures.
  • Oversee and ensure that policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when needed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Be knowledgeable of policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls,
    hoods, other equipment and food storage areas.
  • Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Provide safety training in first aid, lifting and carrying objects and handling hazardous
    materials.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation,
    line cook, fry cook and/or expediter.
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity or a degree in culinary arts.
  • ServSafe Certified (will train if needed).
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and front-end personnel and
    customers.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Flexible with schedules/changes to ensure coverage is always available during kitchen hours
    and/or events.

Server

Summary of Position

We are seeking personable servers to join our team. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality experience for our customers. You will answer customers’ questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their drinks/meals with a smile. We are looking for candidates who are warm, positive, friendly, calm under pressure, willing to grow as a team and work with attention and urgency through the shift. Starting at $7.50/hour + plus tips.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly upon entering and thanking customers upon leaving
  • Answer questions about menu items, beer, wine and other beverages
  • Gracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as food and top-shelf drinks
  • Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen and/or bar staff
  • Offer special assistance to patrons with specific needs
  • Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredients/taste
  • Operate the drink fountain and coffee station
  • Use POS system to accurately enter orders, calculate the customer’s bill, and close out tabs
  • Countdown server bank at the end of every shift
  • Complete prep work/cleaning duties thoroughly
Qualifications
  • 6+ months server experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Bartender

Summary of Position

We are looking for energetic, engaging and experienced Bartenders with positive attitudes to provide attentive and friendly service to our customers. Must have knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and liquor, and know how to mix a variety of specialty drinks. We expect our bartenders to engage with our customers while always being aware of everyone’s needs. Must have the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and stay positive in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork mentality required. Full-time and part-time positions available. Wages starting at $7.50/hr. plus tips.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks as requested
  • Mix drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
  • Sell and serve food items
  • Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers wanting to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages
  • Monitor all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels
  • Assist in ensuring patrons have a safe ride home, calling a ride when appropriate
  • Provide a positive and friendly customer experience by interacting with them while maintaining other duties of position
  • Keep bar area clean, safe and organized
  • Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
  • Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
  • Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
  • Manage and set TVs to meet customer desires while maintaining other duties of position
  • Fast, efficient, friendly service to meet weekly sales goals
  • Thoroughly complete pre- and post-shift cleaning duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience working as a bartender preferred
  • Must be able to lift 20-pound boxes and stand for an 8-to-10-hour shift
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Casino Attendant

We are seeking personable individuals to join our team. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality experience for our customers in the Video Lottery area. You will answer customers’ questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their drinks/meals with a smile. We are looking for candidates who are warm, positive, friendly, calm under pressure, willing to grow as a team and work with attention and urgency throughout the shift. Must be self-motivated and willing to handle large amounts of money with integrity/honesty.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately take and execute customer orders and relay food orders to the kitchen staff
  • Offer special assistance to patrons with specific needs
  • Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredients/taste
  • Use POS system to accurately enter food orders, calculate the customer’s bill, and close out tabs
  • Countdown server bank at the end of every shift
  • Complete prep work/cleaning duties thoroughly
  • Assist co-workers as requested/needed
